HyperDuck SoundWorks is a team from Ireland who are passionate about music creation for media, game in particular however. They are from Belfast, Northern Ireland, and both have Honours Degrees in Music.
Joining together as friends many years ago, the two began their VG Music making journey when they joined forces with Dan Remar to make the Iji OST. After this they have since been the lead audio behind Katakijin, Zero Gear, A.R.E.S: Extinction Agenda, Dust: An Elysian tail, Break Limit, Mama & Son: Clean House, Space Junk, and the list really does go on and on.
Some of those games are still being developed but rest assured every ounce of work that the HyperDucks do will always see its way onto their website for as many ears to hear as possible. Being the lead audio behind two Microsoft Dream. Build. Play winners for 2009 and 2010, the HyperDucks do not hold back on effort when entering any project. And should you feel the same way about your own work, do give us a shout and let us get to work!
"This thing is amazing and surprising and well outside the style(s) I expected to find on the soundtrack."
"...the familiar sounds of orchestral inspired video game music, but it feels fresher, sexier, and more modern"
"...There’s one element that clearly stands above the rest: the music. HyperDuck Soundworks’ score is almost absurdly good."
" Something that must be mentioned is the game soundtrack from Hyperduck. It’s a blend of what you’d expect from the old school RPG days... and hints from something like Trigun… It’s something special and it fits the game immaculately. '"
